It seems that Walgreens is getting negative attention for one product they sell in their stores, "Pitbull Defense Maximum Strength Pepper Spray". The packaging shows a snarling pitbull on a chain, with a sign on it stating "WARNING: Beware of" placed so that the word Pitbull is used both in the sign and in the name of the product.
There is a petition to address this.
"Stop selling "Pitbull Maximum Strength Pepper Spray" and other products that discriminate against certain dog breeds."
Definitely lost my business. I will not visit a store that sells products meant to instill fear, that targets my Krypto (who I have had to use spray to protect from other dogs in the past) and encourages my community to fear him.
