Fantastic news out of Maryland!
The House has unanimously voted to approve a measure which overturns Tracey vs Solesky. The vote was 133 - 0, and the measure now moves on to the Senate for final approval.
This new law holds all dog owners equally responsible for their dogs, allowing them to defend themselves in court while still providing legal resource to victims. It does not single out any one breed, or group of breeds.
Fingers crossed that we see equal success in the Senate.
