So Lea, the dog who survived is now up for adoption and I was asked to take photos of her for her Facebook page. I thought the folks here would enjoy seeing how this pretty girl is faring. She is a GREAT dog. If you know anyone in the central NY area looking for a really nice adult pit bull, check her out! She LOVES people, is really athletic and active but not overly so, and is awesomely goofy. She's a little insecure with dogs, but is fine with some of them who back off when she issues a warning growl and give her a bit of space to get used to them. She's being trained by great trainer and behaviorist and so is learning how to behave appropriately. Right now her worst behavior is jumping on people. She is honestly an AMAZING dog.
Then Danielle opened the back of her car to get some toys and Lea jumped up into it and found the ULTIMATE TOY. A big gigantic stuffed dog that Danielle uses in her training. Lea jumped out of the car with this thing in her mouth and it was HILARIOUS. Because it's about as big as she is.
Terrible quality of picture but SO FUNNY.
A little more her size.
The FUZZ on her tongue!
She's still learning to drop things. But you can stick your hands right in her mouth no problem.
Another toy it took her about 12.5 seconds to kill.
This picture totally cracked me up.
It's all fun and games until someone loses their head.
I suggested getting her in her car for a "Lea is ready to go home with you!" photo. I had no idea it would work out this well.
You can't ban love!
Is this isn't the happiest dog on earth, I don't know what is.
